DIGITAL is a private Ltd company falling under technical division for the small scale industries as classified by the Govt. of India. Digital weighing systems (P) .Ltd. all center of attention as the name suggests is focused on the production of weighbridges. With the passage of time, Digital Weighing Systems (P) Ltd. has become a pioneer in the production of Digital (Electronic) weighbridges, semi-electronic weighbridges and fully mechanical weighbridges. The company usually produces two basic types of weighbridges with the above mentioned technical criteria. Railway Weighbridges, In-motion Bridges , Sensor Rail bridges , Semi Electronic , Fully Electronic , Roadway Bridge, Pit weighbridges, Pitless Weighbridges. Apart from these the company also produces all important load cells and other circuitry required for the production. Besides company also act as an assembling unit for various small scale weighbridges. The usual weighing category for weighbridges is measuring 30 tones. Mechanical to electronic conversion kits.

Iron bars of cross-section and high density steel sheets are the two basic raw materials for the company. The bars and steel sheets provide the base for building supports of the gigantic railway and roadway weighbridges. The main supplier for the company's is the Bhilai steel plant, as it is a pioneer name in the Iron and Steel industry and is well known for its quality standards. All major iron & steel parts are supplied by the BSP, Bhilai. Smaller components are usually supplied to the company by other small scale Industries.

Digital Weighing Systems (P) Ltd is a private sector company established in 1994, with the joint efforts of company's current two members of the board of directors of the company. The company's initial installation cost was nearly 3 Crores which set up the company's head office and its production unit. A digital weighing system (P) Ltd is one of the premier establishments in Bilaspur. The company's head office and it's base production unit is situated at plot no.p1/p2 Tifra industrial area, Bilaspur (C.G.). The plot covers about 30000 sq. ft. of area. The head office and its production unit are situated adjacent to each other with the production unit comprising of nearly 60% available area. The company is situated near about 6km from the nearest Railway station in Bilaspur Railway Junction. The National Highway (Bilaspur-Raipur) is also under just a 1Km. from the site. From establishment the company has fulfilled all norms as prescribed by the government of India.

DIGITAL undertakes projects related to weighing, acquisition using PLC’s to control, customized weigh applications, Software solutions Fully Electronic Weigh bridges and automate processes etc. along with weigh processors developed in house.
